Lipid Bilayer

I was tasked with demonstrating the concept of the lipid bilayer. Lipids will form into bilayers when submerged in liquid environments. This is due to the nature of each of the lipid’s poles. There is a water loving, hydrophilic end and a water fearing, hydrophobic end. When submerged, they will group together and the hydrophobic ends will orient themselves inwards, away from the liquid environment.
